Then and now
Rogier Dulac currently performs as an all-round DJ, focusing mainly on smaller parties as well as bars and clubs.
Like 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, Top40, house, techno, Latin and more.
In the past, Rogier Dulac was a resident DJ at Zinniz in Oud-Beijerland and played at numerous festivals and clubs both in the Netherlands and abroad, including Silly Symphonies, Amstel54, Onefour, Asta, and Paard, to name just a few.
He has also performed internationally in Germany, Hungary, Belgium, and the United Arab Emirates.
Until 2012, Rogier Dulac performed under the alias Phase, focusing primarily on hardtrance and hardstyle. While he now plays an all-round style, he still has a soft spot for heavier beats.
Music production

At the age of 18, Rogier began producing music. At that time, software synthesizers did not yet exist, and hardware synthesizers and samplers were controlled via an Atari ST computer using MIDI. Mixing was done on large mixing consoles, and compressors were still full-sized 19-inch rack units.
Around 2002, Rogier started working with Pro Tools in combination with a Roland JP-8080, an Access Virus B, and various outboard gear. The beats were energetic and uplifting. Under the name DJ Phase, numerous productions were created during this period.
This was followed by a phase in which Rogier formed a collective with other DJs under the name Connect and Progress. Together they played at festivals and clubs and organized the regionally well-known Longo’s Lounge parties.
In 2008, Rogier began producing as part of the DJ duo Dulac & Dubois. Together with a fellow DJ, he released tracks on Armada, Sine Music, and Made 2 Dance.
After a period focused mainly on softer trance and progressive sounds, Rogier continued solo under the name Rogier Dulac. Under this alias, releases appeared on labels such as Big Boss Records, Magic Island, and Black Hole. In addition, Rogier releases music through his own label, Connect and Progress.
Besides producing his own music, Rogier was also a producer and DJ for Miss Autumn Leaves. They worked and performed together for several years, often accompanied by a percussionist, keyboardist, and saxophonist. Multiple tracks were released on Made 2 Dance, Throwing, and Big Boss Records. Rogier also produced a duo track by Miss Autumn Leaves and Chris Jones, the brother of Grace Jones.
Although live performances with Miss Autumn Leaves are currently on hold, several unreleased productions are still waiting to be released in the near future.
In addition, Rogier has collaborated with Ton TB, Jazz Aughton, and Gritzelis.
